‼️‼️WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION NOTICE‼️‼️

Dear Valued Customers,

Please be informed that there is a major burst on a 12-inch pipeline serving the entire Kiritiri and Gachoka regions.

In addition, another pipeline burst has occurred at P.I., reportedly as a result of ongoing construction works at the new petrol station, that's after River Rupingazi.

Our technical team is on the ground working to repair the damages and restore normal water supply as quickly as possible. We regret any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and understanding during this period.

‼️RESTORATION OF NORMAL WATER SUPPLY‼️‼️

Dear Customers,
We are pleased to inform customers in *Muthatari, Rwika, Gachoka, Muraru and the entire Kiritiri region* that the maintenance works on 12' main water pipeline have been successfully completed and normal water supply has been restored.

You are kindly requested to allow some time for water to reach all areas and refill household and institutional/Organisational storage tanks as pressure gradually stabilizes across the distribution network.
We appreciate your patience, understanding and cooperation during the maintenance period.

‼️WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION‼️

Please be informed that we have temporarily shut down the 315mm (12-inch) main water pipeline serving *Muthatari, Rwika, Gachoka, Muraru and the entire Kiritiri region* to facilitate urgent maintenance works at the Majimbo and Cathmos areas.

As a result, customers in the affected areas will experience interruptions in water supply during the maintenance period.
Our technical team is working diligently to complete the repairs and restore normal water supply as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience, understanding and cooperation during this period.

EWASCO WELCOMES A NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Today, EWASCO welcomed the newly appointed Chairman of the Board, Mr. James Namu Ireri, during a staff meeting attended by County Secretary- Ms Amy Ruria, Chief Officer-Water and Irrigation- Ms Grace Wanja, Managing Director- Eng. James N. Njeru, Board of Directors and employees of EWASCO.
During the meeting, Eng. James highlighted the Company’s commitment to improving service delivery despite challenges brought about by the ongoing rainy season, which has resulted in increased pipe bursts across various areas. He further emphasized the importance of teamwork, effective customer communication and collaboration among departments in ensuring customers continue receiving quality services.
Ms. Amy commended EWASCO's management and the Board of Directors for their dedication and good work in serving the people of Embu County. She also reaffirmed the County Government’s support towards the Company’s vision and growth.
The newly appointed Chairman, Mr James, expressed his commitment to supporting innovation, teamwork and improved service delivery as EWASCO continues enhancing water and sanitation services across Embu County.
