We learnt quite a lot from melon farming. It looked really easy in the beginning but things became more serious as the days progressed. Lesson learnt
1. Quality of seed matters
2. You need constant water supply
3. Strict spraying & daily inspection of the crops
4. Know your market before planting

Boars should be introduced for stimulation. Gilts should be checked for positive heat cycles & when confirmed it should be recorded then reintroduced for stimulation again after 18 days and a repeat after 18 days then served.

25 animals boarded and made their first & only trip in life. The success of any pig farm is the consistency to keep the cycle of serving, farrowing, weaning, breeding and finally delivering for slaughtering. If one masters & does it consistently, then profits will be inevitable.

Loading pigs to a truck for delivery most times is the most difficult part. The trick is to get one or two then the rest follow. We are also working on fabricating something like metal stairs in the near future. Beginning 01/07/23 Farmer's Choice Limited will be paying new delivery cost per pig per distance. This is due to high fuel cost.

N I P P L E S: Water Ni***es in a piggery ensures pigs drink clean water and also allows the farm hand to do other things knowing that the pig have access to clean water. Before you start pig farming ensure you have access to constant flow of clean water.

S A L E S: Imagine having never stepped out of your home since birth, then you hear a big truck early in the morning and these humans tell you..”today you shall take a road trip and probably never come back to your cages” Part of you feels excited as you remember how exciting your life has been for the last 6 months you’ve lived and you wonder how life will be away from home. After a 3 hour journey, the truck stops and parks, you get out and see other pigs like you and your friend suddenly whispers “is this Farmer's Choice Limited finally I’m going to be a sausage or bacon” that’s when you realize it’s the end of the road for you all. We at Trinity are happy to be one of the suppliers to Farmer's Choice Limited
