This victory is not just personal — it is a win for MCCCU, for our farmers, for Murang’a County, and for Kenya. It is recognition of the work being done to transform the dairy and agro-processing sector through innovation, discipline, and unwavering commitment to empowering farmers.

In his acceptance speech, he reminded us that the award is a testimony of a village boy who once conquered his country and now Africa, and a hope to every village boy that they too can conquer the world.
And he closed with a powerful declaration:
“We are Africa and Africa is our business.”

Today, we celebrate leadership. We celebrate impact. We celebrate a decade of growth and the future ahead.

As part of our new MCCCU Strategic Plan 2025–2030, we are taking a bold step to support farmers in one of the most important areas of dairy production — breeding.

MCCCU will now work closely with qualified Artificial Insemination (AI) Technicians to ensure our farmers:

✅ Receive genuine, high–quality semen
✅ Get fair and transparent pricing
✅ Avoid being exploited or swindled
✅ Improve their herd genetics and milk productivity
✅ Access reliable, standardized breeding services across Murang’a

As MCCCU, we are proud to announce the launch of our new Portable Ice Cooler Tank, unveiled during our 10th Anniversary celebration. This innovation is designed exclusively for our members as part of our commitment to improving milk quality and farmer earnings.

With this new tank, our farmers can now keep milk fresh for up to 24 hours after milking, greatly reducing spoilage and ensuring higher-quality deliveries.

Here’s how it will work for our members:
➡️ Each member will receive the portable ice cooler tank
➡️ We will provide fresh ice every time we collect your milk
➡️ Your milk stays chilled, safe, and of premium quality from the farm all the way to our collection points

This is a major milestone in strengthening our value chain and supporting our farmers with practical, modern tools that improve productivity and income.
