Samar Farm is involved in four agricultural activities:
Parcel One is the growing horticultural crops in rotation (French beans, green and red California wonder peppers, cabbages, watermelons, chilies) bananas and other fruits. Parcel Two is under coffee which is a top four Kenya export crop and high foreign exchange earner for Kenya. Parcel Three is Dairy farming where we have began with a smal
l herd of Holstein Friesian dairy cows. We hope to grow a healthy herd which will deliver 1000 liters a day and therefore diversifying by product development value addition by internal processing of milk to premium products e.g. Parcel four is set aside for a later development of a Hospitality and Agro - tourism boutique hotel and spa. From Internally generated resources, it is envisioned to be of a standard to attract local and international tourists seeking a holiday in a peaceful environment with opportunities to partake in farm activities as well as interacting with indigenous people in the locality in their everyday life activities. Beyond farm activities links are being made to welcome our guests to neighboring facilities that provide either golf, white water rafting, gliding, mountaineering, fishing as well as other social and community activities.
