Borrowed Systems, Empty Substance
Young minister, be careful.
Not everything you see in seasoned ministries is a pattern to copy — some things are a result of growth.
Having a PA does not make you important.
Having armor bearers does not make you powerful.
Having a “team” does not mean you have a ministry.
Many are building structures they cannot sustain —
just to look like they have arrived.
So you hire people you don’t need.
Create titles you cannot define.
And build systems that carry no real weight.
All for appearance.
Listen carefully:
Structure without substance is strain.
When there is no real demand, no real growth, no real depth —
those systems will eventually expose you.
God does not start with platforms.
He starts with process.
It is okay to be small.
It is dangerous to pretend you are not.
Grow into structure — don’t borrow it.
