Effortless Garlic Herb Chicken
Prep time: 10 mins | Cook time: 15 mins | Servings: 4
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
2 tbsp Bel’s Organic Garlic Paste
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp coarse sea salt
½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
Assorted vegetables for searing (zucchini, bell peppers, red onion)
Instructions
1. Make the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together Bel’s Organic Garlic Paste, olive oil, fresh rosemary, oregano, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice until smooth.
2. Marinate: Coat the chicken breasts evenly with the garlic herb mixture. Let rest at room temperature for 15 minutes (or refrigerate up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).
3. Sear: Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of olive oil, then lay the chicken in the skillet alongside your chopped vegetables.
4. Cook: Cook the chicken for 6–7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and a golden-brown crust forms.
5. Rest & Serve: Remove from heat and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy. Serve alongside the pan-seared vegetables.
