Don’t Panic it’s Organic! 🌾

We’ve worked hard over the last 7 years to convert virgin and degraded land and regenerate it using regenerative and organic farming principles. Not one drop of pesticide or herbicide has been used on our shamba.

Rather we use techniques such as intercropping, natural pesticides and companion plantings to reduce the impact of pests.

Another benefit has been the use of our worm farm to introduce worm castings and organic mushroom compost boost the soil organic matter, nitrogen and phosphorus in the soil!

Healthy soil = healthy plants = nutrient dense food! 💚

It was a pleasure to host people interested in the regenerative farming philosophy we have developed over the years at Ololo.

The long table lunch we hosted a couple of months ago was a great way to share how we practice and implement more regenerative practices on farm using our pasture raised poultry, free range pig and organic mushroom enterprise to all work in sync with each other!

A true paddock to plate experience was enjoyed by all!
