*About Last Night !*
It was a blast!
Chef Caro put together an 8-course menu infused with delicate flavors and a perfect balance of savory and heat!
The Toru Shoyu, our opening course tantalized our senses with the sublime aroma of chicken broth, nori, scallions and kombu seaweed. We were all so hungry and dug in with gusto!
*The servers had to keep reminding us that there were more scrumptious courses coming and we needed to pace ourselves!*😁
The spicy dishes kicked in just as the Nairobi night temperatures dipped! The portions were incredibly generous! Most of us took home doggy bags!
The cocktails and wines perfectly balanced every dish!
The music albeit loud at times, added a warm vibe that had some swaying in their seats!
Many thanks to Chef Caro, Peter, Loki and Ironman for their attentive and impeccable service! 👌🏾😍
It was an indelible experience that must be repeated! 🥂

May dinner at Hero Restaurant — from the appetizers to dessert—scrumptious and innovative as usual! The reinvented chicken wonton soup made with melon skin was a surprising creative delight. Many thanks to Head Chef Caroline Kasena and Chef Yadav for pulling together this great night!

In November, Cave a Manger’s Chef Mesha delighted us with her culinary talents at the Capital Club. If you never thought cheese could be paired with chocolate— it most definitely can! We were unashamedly scrapping our plates to savor every single morsel. What a fantastic and creative menu!

Despite the rain and traffic, we had a wonderful September dinner event at the Social House with a blend of Peruvian seafood (Inca) and Kenya meats (Copper. The atmosphere was intimate, the presentation fabulous and the food scrumptious! Many thanks to Chef Carlos and Chef Philip for this four-hand gastronomic feast!
