In 2017, while at work trying to get some extra money to get my mother new spectacles,I received a distress call from our family friend who had taken my mum for her regular eye checkup informing me that the doctors had referred her to to KNH as soon as possible.
Later, My mum was diagnosed with brain tumour which affected her memory and eyesight as well. That meant she could no longer move around nor go to work. We used the available resources as a family and she underwent surgery which did not go well and she has been under medication to date.
The condition has affected her psychologically and mentally. She spends most of her time crying and blaming herself for her current condition .
she cannot move around as she used to and her movement has been confined from bed to chair with assistance from us whenever we are around.
Every evening after our everyday hustle we always find her teary and tired and for those who know her from her ever smiling face,it's all that we can ever wish for. Her smile.
It's always heartbreaking coming home to meet our ever cheerful and welcoming mother crying on her bed and asking if she will ever go back to church as that's where she finds happiness.
As a family we want to help her get back to her normal life full of happiness and easy movement without assistance. To make this possible we request your contribution as she seeks further medication in India.

Help us, help her gain her sight. She needs an urgent medical surgery before it's too late. The doctor's in India have advised for quick surgery as soon as possible.
