5 Key Tips for Buying the Perfect 5L Water:

-Check the Label for Source and Type:
Distilled water, purified drinking water, and natural spring water are processed differently. If you are in Kenya, check that the brand is certified by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS).

- Inspect the Seal: Never buy a bottle that has a broken or loose seal. A tamper-evident cap is a guarantee that the water hasn't been compromised during transport.

- Look for BPA-Free Plastics: Ensure the container is made of food-grade, BPA-free plastic (look for recycling symbols 1, 2, or 5). This prevents harmful chemicals from leaching into your water.

- Consider Refills: Save money and reduce plastic waste by choosing local water ATMs or accredited refilling stations. Always sanitize your reusable 5L containers before refilling.

- Proper Storage: Water quality drops quickly if exposed to direct sunlight. Store your 5L bottles in a cool, dark, and dry place off the floor.

💡 Pro-tip for households: 5L bottles are great for continuous kitchen use, cooking, and hydration. Keep an eye out for bulk-buy discounts when shopping at major local retailers.
