Sweet heat, garlicky goodness, and crispy chicken tossed into leftover rice magic.
Who needs takeout when you can whip this up at home?
1 cup leftover cold steamed Daawat Aromatic rice
200g chicken pieces
1 tbsp corn flour
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
1/2 cup green beans, finely chopped
2 stalks spring onions, chopped
2 tbsp oil for cooking
Method: Mix chicken pieces with corn flour, minced garlic, soy sauce, and honey. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a hot pan and cook the marinated chicken until golden and cooked through.
Stir in finely chopped green beans and cook for 2–3 minutes.
Add leftover cold steamed rice, drizzle in more soy sauce, and stir well.
Toss in chopped spring onions, stir until warmed through, and serve hot.
