Did you know raw milk is not just a healthy drink but also a natural skincare remedy? Here’s why you should consider incorporating raw milk into your beauty routine:

🌿 Hydration
Raw milk is rich in natural fats, proteins, and water, making it a perfect solution for restoring and maintaining your skin's moisture.

🌿 Anti-Aging Properties
Packed with antioxidants like vitamins A, D, E, and beta-casein proteins, raw milk helps protect your skin from premature aging.

🌿 Acne-Fighting
Its antibacterial properties make raw milk an effective solution for combating acne-causing bacteria.

🌿 Soothing Relief
With anti-inflammatory properties, raw milk can calm irritated skin, including sunburns and other irritations.

For the best results, use fresh raw milk from grass-fed cows – just like the quality milk from Tagho Dairy Farmers Co-operative Society Ltd. And always perform a patch test to ensure you're not allergic.

Hay: Essential Feed for Our Livestock

At Tagho Dairy, we know the importance of high-quality feed for healthy, productive animals. That’s why we use hay, a valuable dried plant feed that provides essential nutrients when fresh grazing isn’t available.

What is Hay?
Hay is made by cutting and drying green grasses or legumes to lock in nutrients and prevent spoilage. This simple process results in a stable, nutrient-rich feed that keeps our animals healthy, even during the dry season.

Why Hay Matters
Hay is a go-to feed for a variety of livestock, including cows, goats, sheep, and more. It’s especially useful when pasture grazing isn’t an option, like during the rainy season or in areas with limited grassland.

How Hay is Made
Typically, hay is cut in the field and air-dried in piles to keep nutrients intact. In wet climates, hay can be dried indoors with warm air to prevent moisture-related spoilage.

Timing is Key
The nutritional value of hay depends on when it’s harvested. Cutting grasses and legumes at the right time ensures high protein content, making it a well-rounded, fiber-rich feed.

Storing Hay
Properly dried hay, with 20% or less moisture, can be stored for months without losing quality. At Tagho Dairy, we ensure careful storage to keep hay in prime condition.

A Look Back in History
Before the 1800s, hay was cut by hand with simple tools. Today, we use advanced machinery for harvesting and baling, making it easier to provide our animals with high-quality feed year-round.

Though hay doesn’t match the nutritional punch of fresh forage, it’s a valuable, cost-effective way to support our livestock, reducing the need for additional feed supplements.
