As contestants prepare to craft their journeys from sunrise to moonlight, get ready for one of the most exciting stages in the region. Bringing together some of Malaysia’s top bartending talents, this competition is a celebration of the country’s rich diversity, creativity, and hospitality at the highest level. From bold flavours to innovative storytelling, we’re excited to discover who will take the Malaysia title. 👑🏆

First up,
Caden Chua (Caden Chua) — Bar Lead at Coley Cocktail Bar and reigning Giffard West Cup Malaysia Champion. Having claimed the title in 2024, Caden returns to the competition from the other side of the judging table, ready to discover the next talent who will represent Malaysia on the GWC stage.

Next,
Ho Boon Leong (Ho Boon Leong) — Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, bringing extensive hospitality expertise and a wealth of experience in luxury food and beverage operations.

Last but certainly not least,
Michael Cheang (Tipsy Turvy) — Drinks journalist and author of the “Tipsy-Turvy” column in The Star Malaysia. With over 16 years of experience covering spirits, cocktails, and the local bar scene, Michael brings a unique media and industry perspective to the judging panel.

From boundary-pushing concepts to meticulous ex*****on, we’re set to discover who will take the Taiwan title. 👑🏆

First up,
Nono Yu () — Owner and Bartender behind several acclaimed concepts including Jia Jiu, Bar Tor Dāy, and Nán. Known for blending creativity, magic-inspired storytelling, and local Taiwanese ingredients, Nono is the 2022 World Class Taiwan Champion and continues to earn recognition across Asia with his award-winning bars.

Next,
Jint Huang (.huang) — Co-Founder of POLLEn Taipei, Giffard West Cup Taiwan Champion, and Giffard West Cup APAC 1st Runner-Up 2024. Combining years of operational expertise with cocktail craftsmanship, Jint brings both competition experience and a modern perspective to the judging panel.

Last but certainly not least,
Victor Chung () — Brand Ambassador at Importer Co., Ltd. and former R&D Director of Draft Land. Widely known as “The Walking Cocktail Encyclopedia,” Victor brings a wealth of knowledge spanning spirits history, cocktail innovation, and beverage education, making him one of Taiwan’s most respected voices in the industry.

First up,
Arthur Piffoux () — Giffard International Trade Marketing & Advocacy. With over a decade in the industry, Arthur brings a sharp eye for balance, technique, and cocktail storytelling. Having judged competitions across the region for years, he brings deep expertise and a refined palate, ensuring every cocktail delivers both character and clarity.

Next,
Soobin Yook 육수빈 () — Head Bartender at and reigning GWC Korea Champion. Having earned the title in 2024, Soobin now returns to the competition from the other side of the judging table, ready to discover the next talent who will represent South Korea on the GWC stage.

Last but certainly not least,
Mickey Lee 이민규 () — Owner of and World Class Korea Champion 2011. A respected figure in the Korean bartending community, Mickey brings years of experience and a champion’s perspective to the competition.

Eddie Nara () – Hong Kong’s Spirits Educator & Consultant, as the first Certified Spirits Educator (CSE) in Asia, Eddie is a seasoned international spirits judge and the regional lead tutor for Whisky & Gin Ambassador. He brings unmatched technical expertise and strict international standards to our panel, ensuring every serve is evaluated with absolute precision.

Next,
Lok Cheung () – ⁠Beverage Manager of COA, renowned for his deep passion for craft spirits and his mastery of blending local culture with complex flavor profiles, Lok will be looking for unparalleled creativity, charisma, and how seamlessly contestants elevate Giffard liqueurs & syrup into the true star of their cocktails.

Amanda Wan () – ⁠Beverage Director of Tastings Group, Amanda Wan is an influential hospitality leader and a standout veteran of Asia’s 50 Best Bars, celebrated as Malaysia’s first female global bartending champion. She drove a Kuala Lumpur bar to a groundbreaking #15 ranking on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 list, and now channels that same relentless energy into her role as Beverage Director at Tastings Group, where she continues to elevate Hong Kong’s dynamic beverage landscape.
