The name of fusion restaurant & bar EXPER is derived from EXPERience, EXPERt, EXPERiment & EXPERtise. EXPER offers unforgettable dining/drinking EXPERriences in Seoul, the heart of Korea. The EXPERts with EXPERtise use simple and fine ingredient, and diverse techniques to create food/drink that are EXPERimental, creative and harmonious. STORY
Owner Dongwoo Lee grew up in Korea and New Zealan

d and graduated from Massey university majoring in Economics. In 2015, Dongwoo opened the very first espuma shop “Whipper New Taste” in Seoul, Korea. After opening, it didn’t take much time to get spotlight from media: TV, magazine and blog. While working, however, he became interested in the world of cuisine and decided to travel to some of the world’s best restaurants and bars. He visited many restaurants and bars through UK, France, Italy, Germany, USA, Thailand and more. After returning to Seoul, Dongwoo opened EXPER in November of 2017.
