Batroun Mountains is a family owned and operated winery, dedicated to crafting wines that reflect the values of the Hark family. The vineyards are located in the mountains of Batroun District in six different towns on altitudes from 400 to 1500 meters above sea level. Vines struggle in this dry, well-drained stony soil, producing superior quality grapes of well-concentrated juice with intense flav

or and color. This struggle is what makes the grapes and the wines dynamic. The vineyards of Batroun Mountains line the hillside, on meticulously designed terraces to give maximum sunlight exposure to the grapes. Olive trees sway as the vines reach for support, for each other, for the sky. Each elemet of the landscape adds personality to the bottle of wine. When opening a bottle of Batroun Mountains wine, there is the taste and smell of mountain cool, the secrets of the hillside, the struggle of the vine, a neighboring olive branch, and the faintest hint of sea below. Each bottle tells a story.

From the vine to the barrel, we let nature lead. 🪨

In our barrel room, there are no humidifiers. No machines. Just a living limestone wall that has been breathing with our wine for decades, its natural moisture keeping the cellar at perfect humidity, the stone sweating so the wine doesn’t have to.

The philosophy doesn’t only apply in the barrel room,

We dry farm our vineyards, no irrigation, no shortcuts so every grape draws directly from the soil beneath it. Pure expression of the land, nothing added.

Above ground and below it, the wine stays connected to the land that made it. It’s not a technique. It’s a belief.

This label is an homage to everything that makes this town unforgettable - St. Stephen’s Church, the Mina, Ma’ad Al Mir, the lighthouse, the lemonade, the prickly pear that villagers once traded for sea salt on the coast, and of course the beach that has always defined life here in Batroun.

Inside, a blend of seven white grape varieties grown organically on Batroun soil, from 950 to 1,500 meters above sea level, facing the Mediterranean. Fresh, aromatic, and alive with tropical fruit like peach, guava, acacia, citrus, mango and white flowers

Best served chilled at 12–14°C. 🌡️
