Fair Trade Liban is an initiative dedicated to promoting just and sustainable commercial relationships between producers, manufacturers, merchants, and customers around the world. We focus on South-South fair trade, aimed at encouraging the export of Lebanese foods, beverages, and handicrafts to traditional markets in Africa, Latin America, and parts of Asia. In return, we are working on creating
markets in Lebanon for the direct import of key Tricont commodities, such coffee, tea, chocolate, and spices, directly to Lebanon. In close cooperation with Fair Trade Lebanon (fairtradelebanon.org), we have been raising awareness and building capacity for the fair trade agenda in schools and universities throughout the country since 2003.
