Namlieh is originally the name of the traditional wooden food storing cupboard used before the era of electricity. Nowadays, it is the name of a women cooperative established in 2012 and dedicated to promoting and marketing the products of rural women cooperatives. Namlieh also facilitates access to internal and external markets and clients, through its sales shop located next to the National Muse

um, in Beirut, as well as its catering services. It also engages in providing various women economic empowerment support through training and coaching of women groups. More than 500 rural women benefit from the activities of Namlieh.
