Sitt-El-Kell is a project aiming to shed the light on ecotourism in the city of Byblos, through promoting local products done by local women in the region. Throughout this process, we will choose 6 women where each woman produces one product. this product will be collected, packaged, promoted and sold to different parties and on different platforms. Our duty as the Rotaract Club of Byblos will be
to do all the above along with spreading awareness on the core importance of women in tourism in one of the most touristic cities in the world, Byblos. The District 2452 criteria for this year encourages sustainable projects and ideas. Our project is in its beginning phase, and the products will be sold repeatedly, while the net total revenues will be distributed to the participating women. We will not be promoting ecotourism only, in addition, we will be exposing a community issue that is more often forgotten, and that is women empowerment.
