Domaine Wardy is a family-owned winery in Zahle.

📝 A very complex wine, surprisingly good notes that I never expected gave this wine a lovely character that reflects the Chilean cool climate heavily influenced by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, which is only a short distance away, not to mention the morning mists and fog that frequently roll into the valley, providing a natural cooling blanket for the grapes.

📝 A very interesting Ukranian wine. Harvested from the Crimean peninsula, which explains the mineral notes. These notes specifically made this wine an excellent match with shrimps 🍤which is a bit unusual for Cabernet Sauvignon. The sea salt taste, intensified the umami flavor in shrimps 🦐 which made them 10x more enjoyable!

I found this 2018 Ukranian 🇺🇦 Cabernet Sauvignon 🍇 at a small minimarket in a far away town, after attending a funeral…

Ukraine 🇺🇦 is well known for wheat 🌾, Corn 🌽 and sunflower 🌻, however grapes 🍇 is a booming thing there at the moment, and some regions such as Odesa are benefiting from over 290 days of sunshine ☀️ and a unique weather giving their wine 🍷 an excellent flavor.

I loved the mineral notes such as the sea salt 🧂 which intensified the umami flavors in the fish I paired it with.

Just tried the new Rosé Beer by Almaza 🦩🍺 and it’s giving fruity vibes all the way!This light blend of beer + red fruit juice 🍓 is super refreshing — I mostly got raspberry on the nose, and honestly, it’s a vibe.At only 2% alcohol, it’s more of a fruity sipper than your classic beer — don’t expect cereal or hoppy notes, but do expect pure chill in a bottle.Perfect for sunny days, beach hangs, or when you want something light + playful.Would you call it a beer? I’m not so sure… but I am reaching for another one.
