The story of The Authentic Farmer begins with a deep-rooted passion that was inspired by my father, Mr. Mahurney Augier, who introduced me to the world of farming at a young age. He gifted me with unconventional presents of livestock, nurturing my love for agriculture and igniting a fire within me.
Throughout my journey, I discovered my true calling: to be a farmer. Guided by my father's wisdom and encouragement, I embraced the challenges and pursued my dreams with unwavering determination. Today, I am proud to introduce The Authentic Farmer, my small business that represents my deep passion for farming and dedication to providing genuine, farm-fresh products.
As a recipient of a scholarship from Helen's Daughters, I have the privilege of furthering my knowledge in agriculture. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in agriculture at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, honing my skills and expanding my understanding of sustainable farming practices.
You can find The Authentic Farmer at the Helen's Daughters FarmHers Market, held every last Saturday of the month at the Pyramid, Pointe Seraphine Castries. It is an opportunity for me to showcase my expertise and share the fruits of my labor. From freshly prepared meats to other delectable delicacies, each offering is carefully prepared with love and dedication.
