Once a welder’s daughter, always a welder’s daughter 🤷🏽‍♀️

I grew up watching my dad work with steel. Never thought I’d need those dinner table conversations; until I started building brewing vessels from scratch.

Now I’m out here talking stainless steel grades, weld types, and heating capacities like I was born for it.

Hibiscus isn’t new, it isn’t trendy.
Sri Lanka has grown it forever. The rest of the world calls it sorrel, agua de jamaica, karkade. We just call it වදමල් 💕

Naturally rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. Used in traditional wellness for centuries.
We didn’t discover hibiscus, we just brewed it. 🫧

Everyone asks; what does “Ayu” mean? 🪷

ආයු (Ayu) is a Pali and Sinhala word that means life, vitality, longevity.

It’s the root of ආයුබෝවන් (Ayubowan), the greeting every Sri Lankan knows. It doesn’t just mean hello. It means ‘may you live long.’

It’s also the root of Ayurveda; the ancient science of life that has shaped Sri Lankan wellness for thousands of years.

We didn’t pick this name because it sounded nice. We picked it because it means exactly what we believe; that what you put into your body should give life back to it.

Every ingredient. Every bottle. Every decision comes back to that one word.
