A recipe born from Portuguese influence, perfected in Sri Lankan homes. Made with candied orange peel, rich spices, pumpkin preserve, semolina, cashews, and, of course, lots of love. 💛

It’s the cake I make for my sister every time she visits from Aus — her favorite, and the one my kids always complain I don’t bake enough of… especially for those golden, chewy edges they adore! 😋
