I am S. Achira Nilanga Jayasiri, the Founder and Managing Director of "Achira Fresh Fruits Export (Pvt) Ltd". With a solid academic background holding a National Diploma in Agriculture, my journey began in the public sector where I served as an Agricultural Instructor at the Department of Agriculture.

Despite a successful career in government service, I was driven by a deeper passion — to uplift Sri Lankan agriculture through entrepreneurship. In 2017, I made the life-changing decision to leave government employment and establish my own venture. What started as a small local fruit-selling initiative with a handful of farmers has today grown into a fully registered private limited export company.

Over the years, *Achira* has built strong relationships with farming communities, and today more than 80% of our supply network comprises trusted local farmers. Our company also operates its own agricultural fields, allowing us to ensure quality right from cultivation to export.

My mission is to take Sri Lanka’s fresh fruits and vegetables to the global market — sharing our tropical flavors with the world, while simultaneously opening international opportunities for local farmers. I am proud to serve as a bridge between rural producers and the global economy, helping to enhance livelihoods and contribute to national development.
