One year of Dose of Island. 🌴
75,000+ cans, 45+ locations, 2 Uber Eats outlets, Gulfood, a bigger office, a bigger team, and a whole lot of figuring things out as we went.
It’s been a wild first year, and none of it happens without the people who backed us, bought from us, stocked us, worked with us, shared us, and kept coming back for more.
Still feels like we’re only getting started.
Year one in the books. Year two, we scale. 🚀
Day one: 1,500 cans. Apparently Colombo was thirsty. 😮💨🥤
The first can. The first “oh s**t, this is actually real” moment. 🥤
Turns out “limited stock” became a little too literal. 😭📦
800 sq. ft. of boxes, cans, bad posture and big plans. 🫡
Showed up with cans. Left with conversations and a whole lot of insights 🤝🥤
From Colombo to one of the world’s biggest F&B stages. 🌍
Gulfood put Dose of Island in front of people from 15+ countries, and proved this Sri Lankan brand can hold its own on a global stage.
Big moment. Bigger ambition.
Where the island gets canned. 🌴🥤
Real fruit in. Dose out.
R&D, but mostly us arguing over which batch tastes 2% better. 🧪🥤
Turns out selling more cans means you eventually need somewhere to put the people selling them. 📦🏠
New office. Bigger team. Bigger plans.
Turns out growth takes up a lot of parking. 🚚🥤
Two outlets. 20,000 cans on Uber. 4.9 stars.
We’ll take that as a pretty solid first-year report card. ⭐️
From boxes on the floor to a space that actually feels like home. 🪴
Still plenty of chaos. Just with better furniture.
Where half the ideas are genius, half are terrible, and somehow the cans always disappear. 😮💨🥤
Our favourite kind of market research: unsolicited screenshots that make the group chat lose its mind. 😂❤️
75,000+ cans in year one.
Safe to say the whole island was thirsty. 🥤🌴
That was Year One.
Now imagine what we do with experience. 😮💨🌴
Thank you for all the ❤️
