At the same time, this initiative helps the volunteers in Sri Lanka and throughout the world to work. study and understand the concept of ecological farming and community farming, whilst contributing to the development of the community farm and promote the idea widely. In return for volunteer help, Knox ‘Farm hosts offer food, accommodation and opportunities to learn about organic lifestyles. Therefore, the Knox’ farm makes a platform for the participants to share and experience the local and international cultural diversity, alternative and new ideas.
