If you have a craving for real authentic Kithul products, then "Only Kithul" is the place you have to go.
You can taste various types of products such as Kithul Jaggey, Treacle, Watalappan made from Kithul, Kithul cake, Kithul Butter, Kithul Spreads, Juice etc.
Jaggery is available from 03 varieties such as High, Medium and Light based on the caramelised level you prefer. We bought each from High and Light. High is bit bitter and it goes really well with drink plain tea or a milk tea. Light is the jaggery what we are normally used to but the jaggery here is authentic. Don't worry they give you samples to try out for you to make the correct choice.
And the Watalappan was yummy. It's not the sugary feeling you get when you eat a spoon of ordinary Watalappan. It's made out of real Kithul Treacle and the sweetness is mild and balanced.
For the first time we tried, Kithul Butter and it was our favourite. Made with fresh milk and jaggery mixed together. And the flavour, taste was fantastic. Spread it on a slice of toast and that's it. Yummyyy..
