🪔සුබ වෙසක් මංගල්යයක් වේවා! 🪔
"න හි වේරේන වේරානි - සම්මන්තීධ කුදාචනං
අවේරේන ච සම්මන්ති - ඒස ධම්මෝ සනන්තනෝ"
"වෛරයෙන් වෛරය කිසි කලෙකත් නොසංසිඳේ. වෛරය සංසිඳෙනුයේ අවෛරයෙන්ම පමණි. මෙය සදාතනික වූ ධර්මතාවයකි."

ඇවිලෙන ගින්නක් නිවා දැමීමට ජලය අවශ්ය වන්නා සේම, අප සිත් තුළ ඇතිවන ක්රෝධය සහ ගැටුම් නිවා දැමීමට කරුණාව සහ මෛත්රිය උපකාරී වේ. සාමය උදා කරගත හැක්කේ බලහත්කාරයෙන් නොව, අවබෝධය, ඉවසීම සහ සුහදශීලී බව තුළින් බව බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ මෙම සදාකාලික දේශනාව අපට සිහිපත් කර දෙයි.
මෙම උතුම් වෙසක් පොහෝ දිනයේදී, ගැටුම් පවතින තැනට සාමයත්, අන්ධකාරය පවතින තැනට ආලෝකයත්, අවිනිශ්චිත බව පවතින තැනට බලාපොරොත්තුවත් රැගෙන එන ගුණධර්මයන්ගෙන් පිරි හදවතක් වර්ධනය කර ගැනීමට අප සැම අදිටන් කර ගනිමු.
සැමට සාමය සපිරි, ආශිර්වාදමත් වෙසක් මංගල්යයක් වේවා! 🪔🙏

"Na hi verena verāni, sammantīdha kudācanaṁ;
Averena ca sammanti, esa dhammo sanantano."
"Hatred is never appeased by hatred. By non-hatred alone is hatred appeased. This is an eternal truth."
— Dhammapada, Verse 5
Just as water extinguishes fire, kindness and compassion extinguish anger and conflict. This timeless teaching of the Buddha reminds us that peace is achieved not through force, but through understanding, patience, and goodwill.
On this sacred Vesak Day, may we cultivate hearts that bring calm where there is conflict, light where there is darkness, and hope where there is uncertainty.
