President Boakai is happy about the U.S. decision to extend Liberian visas from 1 year to 3 years. The U.S. State Department announced that Liberians applying for business and tourist visas can now get multiple-entry visas valid for three years without extra fees if they qualify.

Boakai sees this as a sign of the strong friendship between Liberia and the U.S., based on respect and shared values. He says this change will make travel easier, boost business, investments, and help build closer ties between the two countries.

He also said it shows the U.S. is confident in Liberia’s progress and opens up more chances for Liberians to explore study, culture, and business in the U.S. The President praised the government’s work to grow Liberia’s global relationships and is thankful for this new arrangement.

Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti added that she’ll keep working with the U.S. and other partners to create more opportunities for Liberians living abroad.

MTN Liberia has done their nominations of songs, albums, videos and artists they think did extremely well over the course of 1 year but there has been some level of high feelings and disappointment from music executives and enthusiasts.

Some saying the nomination of some of the artists is bias and ridiculous...
