Ha hona Khomo Ea Boroko Multipurpose was founded on the 9th July 2016,by Lefunyane Lipala, Tsotang Mokone and Refuoehape Mofoka ; third year students at the National University of Lesotho. The founders of the organization, having been born and raised in Lesotho are no strangers to the high unemployment rate that has plagued our society for decades. In fact, literature shows that most if not al
l countries were at a certain point in time faced with the very same socio-economic issues that Lesotho is experiencing. However, through improvement of their institutions and building a very strong private sector these countries were able to develop into Newly Industrialized Countries (NIC’s). It is the project's firm belief that Lesotho has the potential to grow tremendously economically and socially. We also believe that a better future is won by developing a very strong private sector with technological expansion in our midst. In order to keep up with the global markets, Lesotho has to develop today’s most crucial skills, engagement in both micro and macro businesses hence promote entrepreneurship throughout the whole country. The project has faith that the resulting growth in the private sector will yield a prosperous and innovative society.
