Hey guys!
Remember us?! We are alive!
While we have been very quiet on the insta front we have been extremely busy uprooting our lives again and relocating to a new city. This time we have landed in Newcastle, NSW. It’s 2 hours north of our beloved Sydney and while it shares some Harbourside city DNA. In a good way it’s also a little LESS in almost every respect. Making it a bit easier going and family friendly.
Whatcha been up to? We do miss you. If we were back Vilnius’ing we would be settling into one of a number of bottles of our fav champagne or pet-nat (depending on the mood) at our shop about now. Funny thing is YOU can still do that!
Not with us but with even more jolly people, some of our absolute favourites actually - Mattia, Ilona and the Le Travi gang who have taken over our space with their fantastic ! Please give them our love and your support! Heck knows Vilnius needed a place like it so if you want it around please do yourself a favour and eat a lovingly crafted focaccia with a good bottle of natural wine. Regularly. We would have loved a bit of that.
Us? we have been trying to settle in. It hasn’t been easy but getting there. We did land a lovely home in a great spot. Plenty of bbq action in the backyard (the dream!). Not quite as much wine consumption lately but certainly some good local drops are being discovered. Hopefully we can smuggle some back when we visit to share with you.
LOTS of beaching. Our Lucy is growing a nice pair of gills and webbed feet. We can barely keep her out of the water. But that was kinda the point of coming here - for her to be growing up outside enjoying nature as much as possible.
We haven’t been out drinking/eating too much as yet but have certainly been discovering a few new gems in Sydney and Newcastle so let us know if you want any recommendations.
