In love with Maggi Asam Laksa since forever, yes, instant noodles. The cook always eat the simplest! Whenever the weather is a little mellow, a bit cold, raining, a good bowl of Maggi can cheer up the mood! And yes sometimes I top it with mackerel, fresh chili, onion and cucumber.

Well folks in Marrakech, good news! Our first PopUp Lunch of 2022 will be at on 16th January, Sunday.

For only 200dh for a two course lunch (main + dessert), a lovely view from the rooftop, and a bit of Malaysian vibes and music, you shall not miss this opportunity to experience different flavours!

Being Malaysian, you are spoiled with good food at low price. Did you know you can get proper biryani for less than 40dh in Malaysia?

Minced chicken stir fry with Thai basil, bird’s eye chillies, oyster sauce, fish sauce and soy sauce.

No, this is not Malaysian dish but classic dish from Thailand, the neighbour. Malaysia is the melting pot of cultures, it’s never eating food only from one culture. This includes Thai food. As it’s not far at all, Thai eateries or we called it Kedai Siam are pretty much everywhere. One of my favourite combo is actually Tom Yam Kung, Onion Omelette and White Rice. Yes, whenever I move to a new country, what matters to me is if they have a good Thai restaurant. Hard to find in Marrakech but we actually found a place in Gueliz almost a year ago 😉

But today, I feel like whipping up a Thai dish on my own as we received beautiful Thai basil from Jnane Tamsna Garden đŸȘŽ
