Landing back in Berwick after a blissful weekend up north feeding all the wonderful crew and attendees of Jasmijn first retreat!

A huge thank you to Jasmijn for having us, we were so excited to be working with Jass & Amy throughout the weekend and taking a wee Berwick business on tour weekend away together. It really was a dreamy few days that we are so grateful to have been a part of ❤️

What a beautiful gathering of gorgeous people, held so well by the incredible Shannon & Rory of CAIM - the space and organisation behind it all just made it all flow so easily and we were so taken care of, just lush honestly.

Here's a few quick foodie snaps, a menu crafted with Jasmijn in the lead up to her retreat with delicious whole foods, great quality ingredients intentionally sourced to use fresh, organic and local where possible.

It was such a blessing to have been recommended Aran Bakery in Dunkeld by Shannon - what an actual slice of heaven that Bakery is!

Our lives are made easier by using beautiful produce, which we got a lot from The Crunchy Carrot in Dunbar on the way up. The BEST smoked salmon, oh my goodness from Dunkeld Smokehouse, and very happy eggs from Gloagburn Farm, too.

It was all a joy to be honest and to be cooking with my wonderful Mum too, wholesome happy kitchen vibes all the way 💖

I sometimes get called out for have so many different plates spinning all at once, and for sure this past weekend has seen one of the biggest come to its final spin - Berwick Food and Beer Festival.

Being one of the directors for the past 5 years has been a steep learning curve in event management, community mobilisation, problem solving and pulling together so many different moving parts all at once. I have both loved it and dreaded it at times but I am so happy to have been at the helm for half a decade.

I may reflect more in another post sometime cos I have been feeling oh so sentimental since wrapping up on the Sunday just passed, but for now, please enjoy this gorgeous display of friendship from Ruth & Iain as they helped me tidy the huge marquee at about midnight on Saturday. Singing to keep us going and smiling 🎶

Now tomorrow off to a gorgeous retreat I go up north to feed a wonderful group with and and I am so so looking forward to a different change of pace. One of the many reasons why I like to do lots of different things 🥰

Had such a lovely morning on Saturday preparing sharing plates and bowls for the attendees of the Yoga & Knitting Day Retreat with and

Of course, I never have time to fully capture the food with photos, but we had;

- sumac roast potatoes on a dairy free yoghurt, homemade pickled pink onions & pine nuts
- spiced sweet potato and cauliflower
- beetroot & bean dip with flatbreads
- queen chickpea & quinoa tabbouleh
- homegrown organic green salad

Back in early May I had the pleasure of feeding M&M and their guests at for their beautiful wedding.

A crowd pleasing, colourful buffet with a Mediterranean vibe was requested. We had to cater for meat eaters and vegetarians alike so there was options for everyone including a chickpea simmer, homemade falafel & Moussaka, marinated chicken thighs, citrus orzo and more!

There's no more room in my 2026 diary but I am open to 2027 bookings though some months there are looking busy too so please do get in touch if you were hoping to work together 💌

Thank you M&M, thank you 💚 so so lush to visit and cater in this gorgeous home.

The team are incredible, the space is fab and it went by without a sitch! More pics to follow once I've rested my weary feet!

When you choose me as your caterer, you are truly choosing small, local, seasonal, and where I can organic too.

My claim for sustainability is genuine, and I try my best with every job to shop locally and with the planet & local economy of where I am working in mind.

That's why, for tomorrow's wedding in Eyemouth, I've stopped off at the wonderful and picked up loads of gorgeous organic, sustainable produce that is mostly Scottish.

The food tastes better, and we can rest easy knowing the impact your wedding, event or retreat has been considered 💚

Plus, knowing that I've co-founded and run a food waste initiative () for 10 years you know I am not wasting anything in the kitchen!
