SOLD OUT?! We’re not sure whether to apologise or celebrate… so we’ll do a bit of both!
A week or so ago, something happened at Rockpool that’s never happened before… we completely SOLD OUT of Rockpool Gin! Every last drop. Gone.
Obviously, we’re ridiculously proud that so many of you lovely people are enjoying our gin. But we also had a slight problem… we had orders to fulfil and no gin left to fulfil them with!
So, in a move that we’re not entirely sure was strictly cricket, we had to temporarily borrow back some of the Rockpool Gin we’d delivered to our friends at the wonderful, Michelin-starred Artichoke Restaurant in Old Amersham until we could get another batch produced!
Huge apologies to the team there for our cheekiness - and a massive shout-out to them for being such good sports.
And while we’re talking about Artichoke, here’s a little reminder for our local followers: if you haven’t been, you really should! It’s an absolutely fantastic place to eat, right here on our doorstep. Michelin-starred dining is something special to have on our local patch, and brilliant independent restaurants like Artichoke need the support of local people just as much as any pub, café or restaurant. So, if you’re thinking about a special meal out, do give some love!
But fear not, gin lovers - we’re back in business! We’ve restocked, the still has been busy, and Rockpool Gin is back where it belongs (in bottles, ready for you!).
Catch us this Sunday at the Old Amersham Artisan Market and come say hello, have a chat, and get your hands on a bottle before we embarrass ourselves by selling out again!
Thank you all for the incredible support. We’re feeling very proud, very grateful, and only slightly ashamed of our gin-related borrowing habits.
