Agarwin-Keystone Agarwood Plantation

Agarwin-Keystone Agarwood Plantation Agarwin-Keystone Plantation is the leading agarwood and oudh oil plantation in Myanmar.

Agarwin-Keystone Plantation is the first of a series of American-Myanmar investments into Myanmar's forestry sector. By and large we are using areas of scrub jungle that was logged off for valuable hardwood species decades ago. What is primarily planted is Aquilaria Malaccensis, a tropical deciduous tree used for the production of agar wood. Agar wood is used for Traditional Chinese Medicine, ince

nse, and perfumes. The tree itself is an endangered species covered under the CITES treaty, and trade in agar wood is banned. Hence we intend to produce renewable agar wood from plantation-grown trees.
