This Kilkerran 8 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 11 is a Campbeltown single malt whisky at 55.6% ABV, non-chill filtered with natural color, cask strength, limited yield, highly rare. Fully matured in ex-bourbon barrels for a lightly peated profile. It features a golden color; the nose offers green apple, key lime pie, apple jelly, honey, and vanilla with subtle smoke and coastal minerals. The palate is full and smooth, layering banoffee pie, vanilla custard, butterscotch, light smoke, and salted grapefruit with fine balanced tannins. The finish is long, carrying sea salt, peat, and warm aftertaste, exemplifying Kilkerran's light fruitiness and Campbeltown classic depth.
