There’s a transformation taking place on farms throughout the world. For decades, we’ve produced most of our food through industrial agriculture - a system ruled by large farms growing the same crops year after year, using enormous amounts of chemical pesticides and fertilizers that damage microflora and consume large amounts of water. This system is not built to last, because it squanders and dam
ages the resources that it depends on. We at Tal-Kampanjol together with a growing number of innovative farmers around the globe have taken a different path, moving toward a farming system that is more sustainable - environmentally, economically, and socially. We are using science-based practices that maximize productivity while minimizing environmental damage. All our produce is locally grown in a sustainable way, without the use of pesticides, herbicides or harmful chemicals. Not only do we adhere to organic practices, we use 90% less water, recycle nutrients and have a zero-discharge recirculating system. It is therefore possible for us to use only rainwater collected from the Greenhouse roof to grow all our produce. Over 95% of our energy needs are produced via renewable energy and we contribute 0% nitrate pollution to the aquifers. Not only do we produce the cleanest food, we do this with the utmost respect for the environment. Our ability to raise premium, fresh food year-round efficiently and sustainably makes us an excellent local food source. We put our money where our mouth is and therefore our promise to you is that we will never price our premium produce any higher than your average supermarket price - that is what efficiency and sustainability means.
