A great Chardonnay deserves more than an ordinary setting.

Cordero di Montezemolo’s Elioro is a 100% Chardonnay from the Langhe in Piedmont, created to show that great Italian whites can have the depth and ageing potential usually associated with the region’s celebrated reds.

Its name, Elioro, comes from the Greek words for “hill of the sun” a tribute to the sun-drenched Annunziata vineyard where the Chardonnay was planted in 1987. Aged in small French oak barrels and refined further in bottle, it develops layers of citrus, grapefruit, toasted hazelnut, honey and subtle oak.

Elegant, powerful and beautifully fresh.
