London is about to get another taste of Malta, with Sphinx Pastizzeria set to open a pastizzeria in the heart of Tooting.

The popular Maltese pastizzeria chain is heading to Tooting Market, taking over the space previously occupied by The Lone Fisherman.
And yes, that means Londoners will soon be able to get their hands on some proper Maltese pastizzi courtesy of Sphinx.

The upcoming opening marks a new chapter for the Maltese brand as it brings its pastizzeria concept to the UK capital.

The new Sphinx outlet will be located inside Tooting Market, a bustling indoor market in south London packed with food and drink spots from around the world.

An opening date has yet to be announced, with the new Sphinx pastizzeria simply teased as “coming soon”.

From Malta to Tooting, London’s Maltese food scene is getting a new addition.
