It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carmelo Borg Bonaci, a cherished member of the second generation of the Elia family.
A talented cake decorator, Carmelo was one of the pioneers whose dedication helped shape Eliaโs success and the reputation it holds today. His contribution remains an enduring part of our story, and we will remember him with heartfelt gratitude and affection.
He will be sorely missed, especially by his beloved wife Carmen, his children Pawlu and Sylvana, their partners, and his grandchildren. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with them during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Carmelo. Your memory will always hold a special place at Elia.
The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, 22nd October, at 10:00 am, at St Gaetan's Parish Church, ฤฆamrun. Family and friends are welcome to join us in remembering Carmelo.
As a mark of respect, both Elia Caterers and Elia Cafe will be closed on the day of the funeral, to pay our respects and bid Carmelo a final farewell.
