Apparently we did flowers (duh), bows, peaches, mermaids, Mickey, questionable amounts of buttercream and pretty much everything in between.
No two cakes are remotely alike, which is exactly how I like it 😌

Once your cake is in my diary, I get rather attached to the idea of actually delivering it.

Saturday morning, after spending a good chunk of the night working on this order, I woke up to discover that a huge part of Gozo had no electricity.
In 40°C+ heat.
My area had somehow been spared so far (thank god 😂 if I had to decorate a cake by candlelight I would, but I'd rather not).
So the cakes were perfectly happy in my fridge. My client, however... not so lucky.
So before delivering, we spent the morning figuring out how on earth she was going to keep 2 cakes + cupcakes cold with no power and no AC.
A few messages, some rearranging and several ice packs later, we had a plan.
I delivered. The cakes survived. The client was happy.
And the power eventually came back... after 24 hours 🙃
Realistically, if I ever cancel your cake, assume I'm actively restrained against my will and call the police.

I make custom cakes for people who care about the important things.

People who care how it tastes just as much as how it photographs.
Who notice the handmade flowers, the thought behind the design.
Who want something made specifically for their person, their event, their weird little ideas. Not something pulled from a catalogue.

People who understand that the best things usually take a little more time, a little more care, and yes, cost a little more too.

I'm probably not the baker for everyone.

I bet there are a few things you didn’t know about The Flower Baker.

Every cake is made to order, from scratch, with homemade sponges, buttercream, fillings, fruit compotes or ganaches. My style is inspired by a French approach to baking : less sweet, balanced flavours, real butter, real fruit, real everything. Because pretty is not enough... it has to taste amazing too.

Since 2024, I’ve completed over 650 orders and 500 cakes, with 5-star ratings on Google and Facebook.

From minimalist buttercream cakes to detailed fondant sculptures, each design is unique and created individually for the person and celebration behind it.

Of course, I make birthday cakes, but I also love to create wedding cakes, baptism cakes, baby shower cakes, bachelorette cakes... And even "why not" cakes, because you don't always need a reason to eat one.

BUT it’s not just cakes : I also make cupcakes, cupcake bouquets (yes, that's a thing and they actually do look like real bouquets), fondant cookies, macarons, dessert tables and more.a
