Masterfully crafted by Stéphane Ogier, ‘Face à Face’ is a 100% Syrah that brings his signature "Burgundian precision" to the Left Bank of the Rhône River. It perfectly balances the wild, savory depth of the grape with an incredibly bright, energetic, and modern edge. 🍷✨

What’s in the glass?
🍒 The Nose: Vibrant and deeply aromatic. It bursts with a mix of fresh dark cherries, wild blackberries, and cracked black pepper, beautifully lifted by delicate notes of violet petals and a touch of liquorice.

💎 The Palate: Supremely fluid and elegant. Ogier avoids the heavy, over-extracted style often found in the region. Instead, this is all about supple, fine-grained tannins, mouth-watering freshness, and a distinct, stony mineral drive that carries the fruit through to a long, clean finish.

The Sommelier’s Tip:
This is a wine that loves a bit of air in its youth! Give it a vigorous 30-to-45-minute decant before serving, and watch those complex northern aromas explode in the glass. 🌬️🍷

What’s in the glass?
🍏 The Nose: Expressive and crystalline, bursting with crunchy green apple, sharp lemon zest, and that unmistakable, flinty sea-shell minerality.
💎 The Palate: Tense, beautifully precise, and electric. It is driven by a razor-sharp, mouth-watering acidity and a chalky, textured mid-palate that leads to a long, bone-dry, and intensely saline finish.

In the Cellar:
To let the terroir speak without being masked by oak, vinification takes place primarily in stainless steel vats (90%) with just a touch in multi-wine neutral barrels (10%), undergoing a patient 2-month alcoholic fermentation.

As we celebrate International Sauvignon Blanc today, it only seems fitting to share a recent review of the 2025 Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc where the wine was awarded a staggering 97 points!

Shanteh Wale for describes the Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 2025 vintage as “a wine that catches you off guard” and likens it to “fireworks – the soft, sparkling kind.” We’ll be pouring ourselves a glass tonight.

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Garnacha from Madrid, Spain, coming from a blend of parcels. The grapes are produced in three small vineyards aging from 50 to 90 years old, the soil is mainly granite planted at an altitude of 800-900 meters above sea level
Winemaking Process: The grapes that are produced from each vineyard are fermented separately with local yeast from the vineyards. La Bruja de Rozas undergoes an aging for 7 months in 500 litre French wooden vats.
