“Complex, precise, and beautifully balanced—a standout expression of Tuscan Cabernet Franc."

This limited-production (900 cases) 100% Cabernet Franc from organically farmed vineyards at 400m sits just outside Bolgheri's boundaries, hence its Toscana IGT designation. Grown on pressed clay and crystallised calcareous soils, it ages for 24 months in new French oak then 12 months in bottle, and is released only in exceptional vintages. The nose gives distinctive blackcurrant richness with delicate violets, a hint of bell pepper and graphite minerality. Black olive salinity builds alongside restrained vanilla and dried herbs. A slightly umami, juicy finish makes this wine wholly electric, balancing power and finesse alongside vibrant acidity. 96 Points
