New beer on tap: Cascara 5.3% 23IBU 19P. Coffee beans come from a fruit called a coffee cherry. The beans are extracted from the cherry and processed to become coffee beans ready to make coffee. But the rest of the fruit is not thrown away. It is dried and used as a ‘tea’ called cascara. In collaboration with Café de Chamarel we used the dried cascara and incorporated it in the production of hazy wheat ale with a dash of oats. We thank Agrïa for this collaboration and the expertise of Thomas from Café de Chamarel who made this happen
