Sales & Oprations Coordinator Position Overview:
Alcyon Bakery is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales & Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a Sales & Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our bakery and trading operations. You will oversee sales processes, manage logistics, and maintain efficient stock management procedures. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the quality of issued goods by conducting thorough inspections, including freshness and adherence to quality standards.
Manage stock levels and verify the accuracy of issued goods, ensuring compliance with orders.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and prioritize distribution to shops and free service locations.
• Liaise with delivery drivers and staff to arrange transportation and dispatch of bakery and trading items.
• Generate bills for sales transactions and maintain accurate documentation of goods issued.
• Collaborate with colleagues to manage billing systems efficiently and support operational tasks.
• Conduct quality control checks on returned items and prevent the return of expired goods.
• Maintain detailed records of daily operations, including stock movements and sales transactions.
Overtime Policy:
Duty hours: 8 hours per day, 1 day off.
Overtime: Due to the nature of the job, there may be additional work beyond the scheduled 8 hours. Employees can expect 1 to 2 hours of overtime on average.
Shift Flexibility:
Alcyon Bakery operates 24/7 with three shifts: morning, afternoon, and night. Weekly shift changes may occur, and flexibility in adjusting to changing schedules is required.
Qualifications:
• O level, diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional certifications in logistics or operations management preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the bakery or food service industry.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work, particularly in stock management and billing procedures.
• Preference will be given to male candidates due to specific operational needs.
