🏆 LAMECK JAILOSI WINS FALLING WALLS LAB LILONGWE 2026!

What a day!
LUANAR graduate Lameck Jailosi has emerged as the winner of Falling Walls Lab Lilongwe 2026, hosted by Falling Walls Lab Lilongwe, with support from the Falling Walls Foundation, CDH Bank, TACE, APA, AquaFish, CARD, AgriInoPact and Synergy at the NRC AgriInoPact Building on 14 August 2026.

Jailosi rose above 11 other finalists in an exciting pitching showdown, earning the opportunity to represent Malawi at the Falling Walls Lab Grand Finale in Germany this November. 🇲🇼🌍

The event showcased the power of youth-driven innovation, with CDH Bank reaffirming its commitment to supporting transformative solutions for Malawi, while LUANAR Vice Chancellor Prof. Emmanuel Kaunda called for greater investment in innovations, particularly in the agriculture and health sectors.

Today marked the final day of preparations at the NRC AgrInoPact Building, as our finalists sharpened their ideas and pitches ahead of tomorrow’s grand finale.

We were honoured to welcome Beatrice Ali Phiri, winner of the 2025 Falling Walls Competition, who shared her inspiring journey from the pitch stage to representing Malawi in Germany at the international Falling Walls platform. 🇲🇼🌍

The Boot Camp 1 Finalization Session marked the successful completion of the online SAVE Cohort 2 incubation training and provided an opportunity for incubate groups to connect with their assigned business coaches and mentors.

FUTURE-M III POST-HACKATHON

Learning didn’t end when the three-day FUTURE-M III AgTech Hackathon came to a close at Agrinopact, NRC, Lilongwe. It continued where it matters most — in the communities where young innovators are turning ideas into action.

Building on the knowledge and skills gained through LUANAR-TACE, business experts and technical coaches visited innovators in their respective locations to provide hands-on technical support and business coaching.

Together, we are helping innovators strengthen their ideas, build sustainable agribusinesses, and create meaningful impact in their communities.
