3 weeks into 2026 and we are just getting started. Our team is pushing boundaries, and we are excited to share that part of our land has amazing soil for rice cultivation. First time trying and getting our hands dirty on rice. We are starting with 1 acre of Kayanjamalo rice and we are not looking back.

Happy New Year everyone. A quick update on how things have been going here. We have had some crazy weather lately with non stop rains for the past two weeks. Our dam could not handle it and overflowed, damaging the banks. Unfortunately, we lost a big deal of our Tilapia fish.A big loss yes, but a great lesson learned that we need better outlets.

So we spent most of the weekend fixing the damage with bags of sand. On a brighter note, our banana plantation is thriving and we are excited about our new trial maize field, which will be used as feed for the chickens. We are learning as we go and grateful for the progress.

Great week from the hub. The roofing of our first unit of chicken housing is done. But what really got us buzzing is that our fishpond is now stocked with 3,500 tilapia rendalli. A Huge milestone for us. Still got a lot to learn, but we are loving the journey.

Big update from the hub. The first unit of our chicken housing is taking good shape and is almost ready for roofing. At the same time, we are turning every bit of bare ground into green space. More greens pop up every week. Proud of the progress and excited for what’s coming next.

We have secured 4 acres, built a dam for a steady water supply, prepped the fields, planted 850 banana suckers, and added 400 pawpaw trees, while the fishpond, rice paddies, poultry, cattle, goats, sheep and rabbits all come together in a thriving integrated farm. 🌾🐟🐄🌴
