This photograph, taken seven years ago, depicts Manasseh Mwangonde (Farm Manager) alongside Dr. Hugh (University of Arkansas,Pine Bluff, USA) (came to work at Viphya Chambo under the CNFA program), conducting a land survey using basic tools—a stick and a smartphone. This was part of the preliminary efforts in constructing a one-hectare fish pond at Viphya Chambo.
In an increasingly competitive world, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) should leverage simple, readily available resources to accomplish complex tasks.
