I've had ribs in quite a few of the iconic rib joints across America. I loved some and some didn't quite stand up to all the hype. After trying a few places in Baja I'd just about given up on my quest for a mouth watering, jaw dropping, falling off the bone sweet and tangy rib. When low and behold it was just a stone's throw away from mi casa. Perfect Blend of what seemed like pineapple, onion hint of garlic in a lightly sweet and Suttley tangy sauce. I'll be back tomorrow to see how close I was on the ingredients, try the next thing on the menu and get some ribs to go. But wait how could I forget about the natural thin cut fries with garlic and olive oil.

In and Out 👎, Smash burger👎, Fudrukers👎 wish they could make a burger this good. And for just 30 pesos. Start with fresh beef from the butcher then grill it on an open flame to perfection. Top it with chopped tomatoes from a local garden then add grilled onion, avocado and Mexican slaw. Perfection in every bite!

We had plans to spend the day on the beach with friends in Florida but the airline gods threw a monkey wrench in the plans and we ended up in Houston. When I say we made the best of it this place was definitely the best of it. Catfish, grits and eggs for the wife and chicken and waffles with scrambled eggs and cheese on top for me. I'm gonna need a long nap after this.

3 bbq joints in one day, Fort Worth, Texas. 1st stop Good Luck drive in. Know for their chicken and it didn't disappoint. 2nd Smokies bbq, Kathy took real good care of us. Brisket and dry rub ribs, no need for sauce or a knife. I almost forgot about the best pecan pie ever. Last stop Angelo's. I was a little hesitant about eating barbecue from place with an Italian name but they proved me wrong. I'm pretty sure they had every big game animal mounted on the walls and most of them are available to eat.

If you can make it to the windward side, there are still a few spots that are off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip. Never had pineapple coleslaw before but after having it here I'll be back for more. Thanks Annie for taking such good care of us

Great place to eat. Best Paneer Palak since I've been in India. Inspiring photography fills the walls. Makes me want to go out and shoot but my belly is too full.
