Un gran Ejemplo de Determinacion

Un hito sin precedentes se registró en el deporte de velocidad con la participación de Lucas Tomasi, un corredor de 19 años nacido en Tandil, Argentina.

El joven se ha transformado en el primer piloto con síndrome de Down en competir de manera oficial en carreras de karting dentro de Argentina y a nivel internacional. Su camino en las pistas comenzó con entrenamientos en tierra y asfalto en circuitos como Balcarce, contando con el respaldo de su padre Mauricio Tomasi.

Actualmente, la atención está puesta en los trámites para obtener su licencia profesional ante la Comisión Deportiva Automovilística del ACA y la Federación Internacional del Automovilismo para consolidar su carrera.

Helen Keller once took the stage at Carnegie Hall to deliver a powerful address, using her voice to advocate for change during a pivotal moment in history.

In her 1916 speech “Strike Against War,” Keller spoke about labor, economic inequality, and opposition to war, calling for collective action.

More than a century later, her legacy returns to this historic stage.

On June 27, the American Foundation for the Blind presents a screening of Possibilities, a documentary that carries her story forward through the voices of 21st-century individuals.
