Nearly a year ago, I embarked on the journey to create O'Kahan Agave Mezcal. In 2024, I arrived in Oaxaca, to begin my Mezcal apprenticeship.

My name is Sean Keane and this is the story of my journey to craft some of the finest mezcal in the world.

O’Kahan Agave is proud to sponsor Coastal Kicks DIV 1 & 2 Semi-pro futbal/soccer Club.

Proceeds from the sale of the shirts goes to the Futbal Club. Not to O’Kahan Agave. The proceeds help maintain the fields, purchase new equipment, etc. Go to the link in the comments to purchase. These Players are working hard to earn their way.

The CRM comes to inspect and does a double take at me working at the Palenque.

The Consejo Regulador del Mezcal (CRM) OR COMERCAM is the primary Mexican regulatory and certification body that oversees the Denomination of Origin, production standards, and labeling for legally classified mezcal.

We are always redefining ourselves. For me I look at it as a sink or swim situation. If you can’t redefine yourself you will sink.

My name is Sean. I am a son, husband, father, Soldier (ret), apprentice Mezcalero and the founder of O’Kahan Agave Mezcal.

Enjoy Ur Mezcal.
