The Solento Process (01): All Natural Agave

Our organic tequila begins in the rich, nutrient-dense volcanic soils of the ‘El Valle’. Our agaves are aged to at least 7 years before harvest, giving them ample time to mature, which gives our liquid unique flavor and depth.

Once ripe, the piña, or heart of the plant, is hand-harvested, carefully trimmed, and sliced in half using a traditional coa knife, preparing it for the roasting process.

Follow along as we deep dive into how Solento Organic Tequila is made — from the land all the way to the bottle.
